Toni Alexander, CEO

Birch Street Bookkeeping, LLC

Toni Alexander

Toni is the CEO of Birch Street Bookkeeping, which specializes in small and mid-sized business accounting, bookkeeping, and human resources services.

Over the past 20 years as an accountant, she has worked exclusively with small and mid-sized businesses, in some cases as the sole accounting staff.  Through this unique perspective, she gained efficiencies through streamlining processes and resource management to help grow these companies.

Toni believes that business thrives when resources; physical, human, intellectual, and financial, are properly and efficiently utilized.

One of her current clients had been floundering for years—she stepped in, reviewed the operation, improved processes, and cash flow so they could scale up.  Revenue increased by nearly 60% in one year.

Toni studied at Georgia State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, with a minor in Accounting. She continued her education earning a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from DeVry University.  Also, she is a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.

To support the needs of her clients, she is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers (NACPB), and the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).

In her spare time, Toni enjoys traveling and has an impressive bucket list that includes Madagascar and Indonesia.  She also enjoys watching her favorite soccer team – Atlanta United.
